We want the Wairoa Schools Kapa Haka Festival to be welcoming and accessible for everyone.
If you or someone in your group has accessibility, mobility, sensory or additional support needs, please approach a Festival staff member if you require assistance.
Accessibility
- Accessible toilet facilities will be available.
- Accessible parking/drop-off areas will be identified where available.
- Please keep accessways and emergency vehicle routes clear at all times.
- Festival staff can assist with directions and accessing key areas of the festival.
Students attending with schools
Participating schools remain responsible for supporting the known accessibility, medical and additional needs of their students during the festival.
Students who require individual assistance should remain with their school staff or designated support person.
Whānau and visitors
If you require assistance during the festival, please approach a Festival staff member. We will do our best to help you access and enjoy the event safely.
