First Aid will be available throughout the Wairoa Schools Kapa Haka Festival.
If you or someone in your group becomes injured or unwell, please go directly to the designated First Aid Station or approach a Festival staff member for assistance.
First Aid Station: Location will be clearly marked on the Festival Map and signposted on the day.
Minor injuries or illness
Please report to the First Aid Station for assistance.
Medical emergencies
In a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 111 immediately and notify a Festival staff member. Emergency vehicle access will be kept clear throughout the event.
Students attending with schools
Each participating school remains responsible for its students’ known medical needs, medications and individual health plans. Students requiring medical assistance should be accompanied by a staff member from their school where possible.
Please tell Festival staff immediately if you become aware of a health or safety concern.
